Our client is a regional provider of professional liability coverage for physicians. They are ranked among the country's top professional liability insurers and are endorsed by several state medical societies. They insure over 9, 000 clients in the Midwest and Southwest and currently seek an experienced claims examiner for their Albuquerque office. As Claims Examiner You'll investigate and evaluate claims during pre-suit period which includes meeting with the insured, obtaining pertinent medical records and expert input, and making recommendations for settlement or defense You'll oversee litigated files and work with defense counsel, attend trials, and provide trial documentation to claims management You'll establish timely reserves and monitor them for appropriateness Claims Examiner Qualifications Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience with previous claims adjusting for medical professional cases
